At a young age I lived in both the Philippines and Japan, but eventually moved to the United States with my family at the age of five and grew up in the city of Fayetteville, Arkansas.  I graduated from  high school at the top of my class and am now enrolled in Rensselaer's unique Mechanical Engineering - Design, Innovation, and Society dual major program.  Having experienced a few different cultures throughout my life, I have learned the importance of a well-rounded education, especially in terms of finding solutions to the problems that will challenge our society in the future.  By applying technical skills, creativity, and practicality, an optimal answer can always be found.
